CREATING AN ACCOUNT
To place an order on the Website, you will need to create an online account.
When you create an online account, it is very important that any personal details you provide are complete, true and up to date.
Please let us know if your personal details change or are recorded incorrectly and we will promptly update them.
You will need to create a password to access your online account. Your password must be unique and kept secure and private at all times. Please let us know immediately if you believe or suspect there to have been a breach of security or any unauthorised use of your account.
ORDERS
All orders including phone orders will be accepted at Sweet Lane Cookie Co’s sole discretion.
When you submit an order on the Website, this constitutes your legally binding offer to purchase merchandise. When you place your order, Sweet Lane Cookie Co will send an email confirmation of your order outlining the details of your purchase. This email does not constitute acceptance of your order.
If we accept your order, you will be sent a Customer Order Number specific to your purchase. If we do not accept your order we will notify you via email. All orders are subject to Sweet Lane Cookie Co approval and the availability of merchandise. Sweet Lane Cookie Co may place a limit on the quantity of merchandise that can be ordered on the Website.
We may at our sole discretion cancel your order any time prior to shipping, for example if the merchandise ordered becomes unavailable. We will promptly refund the full purchase price of that order to you. You can read Sweet Lane Cookie Co Return Policy.
PHONE ORDERS
Phone orders are only available to Australian residents and are only available for purchasing full price merchandise.
The purchase of merchandise via a phone order is subject to Sweet Lane Cookie Co approval and the availability of merchandise. Sweet Lane Cookie Co, may place a limit on the quantity of and type of merchandise that can be ordered via phone orders.
Phone orders will only be approved and actioned by Sweet Lane Cookie Co Head Office.
When you make your phone order, Sweet Lane Cookie Co, will send you an email confirmation of your order outlining the details of your purchase. This email does not constitute acceptance of your order.
If we accept your order, you will be sent a Customer Order Number specific to your purchase. If we do not accept your order we will notify you via email.
If the merchandise ordered becomes unavailable, Sweet Lane Cookie Co will promptly contact you. If you have paid for merchandise that is or becomes unavailable, Sweet Lane Cookie Co will promptly refund the full purchase price of that order to you.
GIFT CARDS
Gift Cards may be physical Gift Cards or e-Gift Cards delivered via email and are available for purchase on the Sweet Lane Cookie Co Website.
Gift Cards are issued in specific currencies and therefore may only be redeemed on the Sweet Lane Cookie Co Website in the country corresponding to that currency.
Gift Cards issued with a secure pin can be redeemed on the Sweet Lane Cookie Co Website.
Gift Cards issued without a secure pin can not be redeemed on the Sweet Lane Cookie Co Website.
Gift Cards are valid for three years from the date of issue unless otherwise required at law. Gift Cards should be treated like cash and are not redeemable for cash. Any remaining balances after redemption will be retained on the Gift Card. If a purchase amount exceeds the Gift Card balance, an alternate payment method is required to complete the balance owed. At expiration date any unused balances will not be refunded or credited. Sweet Lane Cookie Co will not replace any lost, stolen or damaged gift cards.
Gift cards cannot be purchased with any discount.
PRICE
All orders are priced in Australian dollars and include GST.
All prices quoted on the Website exclude postage and handling costs. You will be charged extra for postage and handling. You will be notified of these extra costs at the time you place your order.
Prices quoted on the Website are subject to change at our sole discretion without notice.
If the price of merchandise is reduced after you place an order, Sweet Lane Cookie Co will not offer a subsequent price adjustment. The relevant price of merchandise is the price at the time you place your order.
CANCELLATION OF ORDERS
We know you will love our Cookies, but if you are not satisfied, please contact us immediately via email at hello@sweetlanecookieco.com.au and we will do our best to resolve your issue.
We do not offer refunds for any custom orders. Please ensure you are certain before placing an order with us.
To the maximum extent permitted by the law, Sweet Lane Cookie Co. reserves the right to cancel or not accept any order if we are unable to meet the order requirements or delivery date. We will do everything we can to best advise you of this within 24 hours and you will be refunded all charges to the original payment method.
PAYMENT OF ORDERS
You must provide complete, true and up to date payment and billing details.
When you place an order on the Website, you authorise Sweet Lane Cookie Co to deduct payments from the credit card you provide.
You must be the authorised holder of the credit card or be authorised to use the credit card in order to have payment details authorised and processed.
Sweet Lane Cookie Co can refuse to authorise and process an order if, in our absolute discretion, we believe this is necessary. Sweet Lane Cookie Co may request credit, anti-fraud and identity checks if we believe this is necessary.
If Sweet Lane Cookie Co cannot charge payment to your credit card or if a payment is declined or returned for any reason, Sweet Lane Cookie Co, may in our absolute discretion suspend or cancel your order.
If Sweet Lane Cookie Co is charged a fee for processing your credit card by your bank or financial institution, you will be liable for these charges. Sweet Lane Cookie Co will notify you of these charges if they apply.
Sweet Lane Cookie Co uses PCI compliant payment provider PayPal to offer secure payment systems to protect you in accordance with best industry practice.
While Sweet Lane Cookie Co takes all reasonable steps to ensure your personal information remains secure, it is impossible for Sweet Lane Cookie Co to completely guarantee that the transmission of data over the Internet will be totally secure at all times.
Subject to the terms of Sweet Lane Cookie Co Privacy Policy, any information submitted to Sweet Lane Cookie on the Website is done so at your own risk.
DISPATCH, SHIPPING AND DELIVERY OF ORDERS
If Sweet Lane Cookie Co has accepted your order and payment has been authorised and processed, the merchandise purchased will be promptly delivered to you.
Sweet Lane Cookie Co aims to dispatch orders received before 9am AEST during regular business within 4-5 business days, (excluding weekends and public holidays).
During busy baking periods there may be a delay in dispatching your order due to an increase in order volumes.
For Custom or High Volume orders, your dispatch date may be longer than 5 business days, this will be communicated to you once your order has been received.
For Regular Post, Sweet Lane Cookie Co aims to deliver merchandise to addresses located in NSW, ACT & VIC within three to five business days from dispatch. For addresses located in QLD, WA, NT, SA, TAS please allow for 5-7 business days from dispatch.
For Express Post, Sweet Lane Cookie Co aims to deliver merchandise to addresses located in NSW, ACT & VIC within one to two business days from dispatch. For addresses located in QLD, WA, NT, SA, TAS please allow for two to three business days from dispatch.
Sweet Lane Cookie Co only uses reputable postage and courier services (Australia Post in most instances) to deliver merchandise to the delivery address selected by you. If selecting a business address, please ensure that you include the business name on the Shipping Address. Please note that we do not deliver to PO Boxes.
To the maximum extent permitted by the law, Sweet Lane Cookie Co accepts no responsibility or liability for undelivered merchandise.
To the maximum extent permitted by the law, Sweet Lane Cookie Co accepts no responsibility or liability if merchandise is returned to the Sweet Lane Cookie Co warehouse or if there is a delay in delivery which is beyond our reasonable control.
Title to the merchandise and the risk of loss or damage to the merchandise passes to you upon receiving delivery of the merchandise from the postal or courier service used by Sweet Lane Cookie Co.
DAMAGED GOODS
It is always our aim that your cookies will arrive safely as we place them in a heat sealed bag to maintain freshness as well as a tailor made box / tin with food safe lining, tissue paper and hex wrap. However, if your order has not arrived as it should have done, please contact our team at hello@sweetlanecookieco.com with details of the concerns (and images if possible) and we will get back to you as soon as possible with a resolution.
Depending on the condition we will offer to re-send the items or exchange them. As our cookies are perishable goods we do not offer refunds in any other circumstances.
RIGHTS UNDER AUSTRALIAN LAW
Australian law, including the Australian Consumer Law, provides you with certain rights in respect of your order that cannot be excluded by these Terms and Conditions, including that your products must be of acceptable quality, reasonably fit for the purpose that we represent they will be fit for, and that the products will correspond with any relevant description.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall be read or applied so as to exclude, restrict or modify or have the effect of excluding, restricting or modifying any condition, warranty, guarantee, right or remedy implied by law, including the Australian Consumer Law, which cannot by law be excluded, restricted or modified.
